Osprey (Dean Eades)
I hope that everyone is having a fine summer filled with sunshine and plenty of good birds. Of course, we are all dreaming of an amazing autumn with tons of interesting birds.
The management at Tower 42 have very kindly agreed to the Bird Study Group continuing its migration watch from the rooftop between mid-August into early November. We will be starting much earlier at 6am until late morning and our quarry will be passage passerines, migrating Wood Pigeons (mid-October to early November) and of course, raptors. Perhaps we may strike lucky and pick up our first Osprey?
If you would like to join in then please either leave your details on this blog or send an email to t42bsg@googlemail.com.
Observations will be on a weekly basis and days may vary according to weather conditions and passage movement. Watch this blog for details of the first dates. We look forward to seeing you on the roof.
